GRADES OFFERED: 9-12
PREREQUISITES: Advanced approval card from the music department is required for the sophomore, junior and senior year. No approval card required for entering freshmen.
CREDIT: 1 (Single period)
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Receive basic instruction in woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments; develop correct technique, reading skills, and band fundamentals. Perform at school concerts. After completing this class, move up to Intermediate or Advanced Concert Band. Class size is limited to available instruments.

CREDIT: 1 (Single period)
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Display intermediate level techniques and abilities when you perform at school concerts and activities; compete in several music festivals.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Learn solo and small ensemble literature; work in a small group setting on advanced band music. Instructors provide individualized instruction.
