 HazelDale Music was created in the early summer of '05 by 2 young entrepreneurs in the cities of Hazel Park and Ferndale, MI. With musical experience and bands of their own they look toward this label they created to get them started. James Schofield and Andrew Martin, both graduated alumni from Hazel Park High School, are on a mission to reward the local bands in the area and then begin to move outward. By booking shows and tours and creating merch, Hazeldale Music is a non-money involved corporation. HazelDale Music Corporation (HDMC) only takes a cut of incoming profit if they have booked a show that has brought in money. Any band's merch is their money and HazelDale doesn't take any amount from that AT ALL. Any band with trouble finding venues or anything of that nature will have nothing to bother with anymore after turning over booking to HazelDale. Bands already signed to this label
are A Logic Promise, Crestfallen Youth, and Jonas G and the Fantastic
3. All bands from the Metro Detroit area. Look foward to these bands
makin their way to your hometown and rockin your socks off. Mikel has
taken the promo portion of the company and Andrew has brought booking
into his life. Both doing their part in signing bands to get this
company up and running.
