Okay. Here goes nothing. I realize that it has been over a month since I have updated the site but here ya go. Things are getting crazy and by the way it looks you guys could have a new band together featuring members of 6 Made Kill, including myself and Justin and also former members of the band Broken Unity. This is all still in the early stages, but things look promising. If all goes well, I will be the lead singer of this new band. Other than that, for this whole month, me and Jordan have been writing up new material, including our newest jam titled, "The Ironic Story of Understanding the Philosophical Boundaries of The 4th Parallel". I know what your thinking. "What's with the foot long song title"?? Well, I just did ok? Trust me. It makes sense. Look for those lyrics to be on the site within days as I am going to do my best to keep the site updated from now on. Also, if this new project turns into something like a band, you can pretty much look foward to 6 Made Kill's site...(This one), turning into the new bands website, which I imagine will still be moderated by me. From what I hear there are already a few shows for this new band in the works, and we have no songs. Or I don't. I guess I am going to have a good many songs to write. Oh well. It's all good. Anyway, just stay tuned to the site and I will do my best to let everyone know what the hell is going on.

Well, it's been awhile, but Xmas holidays and New Years have prevented me from updating. It's been crazy. Anyway. I have 2 really big announcements. Announcement number one is that the title of the 6 Made Kill E.P. is going to be "Radio Casanova". I decided the name, because frankly all of the contest names sucked horribly. Oh well. Better luck next time folks! Announcement number two is that from here on out, 6 Made Kill is an acoustic only two-peice rocking duo. (Think of Dashboard Confessional). Get excited to hear our upcoming stuff. Well I'm out. Peace!

Well, I haven't posted in a few days, so let's do this. Justin got mad at me on the forums so I am going to send Harriet Tubman and the Underground cracker lynching mob to lynch him, or whatever it is lynch mobs do. That will teach him! Anyway, I got joog from the forums on my side, who finds Justin a "homo". You didn't hear it from me! Well, we haven't practiced since last Thursday, I guess Justin is busy with that other band he's in. The pics that were supposed to be up on the site the other night, well, they really screwed up on me. I think they are up, I just need to find out how to change the resolution on them because they are FRIGGIN HUGE! Oh well, I am a semi-smart guy I'm sure I can handle it. Keep sending suggestions in for our E.P title and remember, the winner receives a signed copy of the E.P. and free tix to our shows. Can't beat that with a ten foot pole can ya? Well, I'm sure all of you will be glad to hear that I am working on some new lyrics, I want to do some strictly acoustic stuff and cut another E.P. here soon after the first one comes out, ya know...to keep everyone interested. Plus, I've always been a fan of the acoustic music and I love writing beautiful lyrics to go solely with the sweet sound of the greatest instrument in the world..THE GUITAR, so Jordan and myself will be working on that here pretty soon, collectively writing some great acoustic material to deliver to you people. Well, I am going to go do some late night writing. See ya'll l8er.
Peace, Joel :)

Well, my dad no longer is my boss. It sucks. As soon as he leaves, they screw up all of my hours, and basically demote me. Man I feel loved. On a lighter note, I bought a new car today! If you see a 2004 Ford Focus ZX5 4dr. Hatchback driving around, and hear the thump, chances are your in the graces of a superstar. On another note, we all no Justin's, (our bassist), other band, Nameless. Well, I MIGHT go to play 2nd lead guitars for them, but 6MK is always my first priority! Umm, I've been having some problems with my digital camera lately, but we did get pictures at our practice thursday, so expect to see those up anyday now. Practice didn't go all that great Thursday, but hey some go like that. The bad news for you fans is that you missed me on the drums. I can only play one song though..."Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand. Oh well, if I was supposed to be a drummer that would be a different story, but I'm not. Remember, keep sending your entries for our CD naming contest!!! Well, I am going to go climb into bed and get some good sleep before I have to report for work at 11:00 a.m. Im excited, I haven't slept since 7 a.m. in over 2 years. YAY! Alright, the easily amused shall leave now.
Peace :), Joel

Ok. All the pages are up and working except for bios. We have practice tommorow from noon until 3:30 p.m., and then I have Jordan and I have to go to work. Justin is a bum. The all new Street Team page is up and running, and when you check that out you will notice that we are in need of some more participants for the Street Team. Shout me a hollar on my email and let me know if you are interested in joining the cause. Post in our forums, and keep checking the site, because updates are coming fast. I also added a friend of mines site to the LINKS page, Phil McDonald. Anyone who is a fan of real music should check out Phil, because he is an amazing musician. He is truly a "one man band", seeing as he writes his own material, and also plays every instrument on his records, AND SINGS. His recordings are mixed and mastered by himself, and he is one of the most awe-inspiring drummers I have ever heard. His music is actually entertaining, something that is more and more scarce in today's society, so check him out. Well I'm out.

Peace :), Joel

What a tedious process. I have been working harder than anyone will ever know the last hour and a half trying to get a redirect for the site. (Make the URL shorter). We finally have one. You can now type in http://6madekill.cjb.net, or simply 6madekill.cjb.net in your browser to get here, which is alot better and easier than typing in the previous four lines of text. I hope all you people are happy, and maybe your fingers will no longer have to suffer the blisters. It is now time for the big announcement regarding our E.P., which will come out sometime in early 05'. We are going to have a contest for our fans to name the disc, which will contain two songs, (3 tracks total), and some good hidden internet material. What we are asking is a name for our CD. Send us an email with your name, location, and your contact info, like your phone number and address, and also your CD title submission, and the one chosen by the band will receive the CD for free when it is pressed, signed by the band, and also free tickets to EVERY 6 Made Kill show. Get those submissions in. The contest ends Jan 8th, so send now. The disc will contain our songs "Heaven Sent" and "The Breakup Song", and also an acoustic version of "Heaven Sent". We are looking foward to getting this done right, and showing everyone what we have to offer. Help us make a good impression on Southeast Texas! Also, we are looking for leaders of our street team in all the area towns. We have one in Buna and one in Beaumont, so email us at 6madekill@aol.com and let us know if you've got what it takes. Post a shout in the forums, which are now up thanks to me. Well, gotta run.

Peace-Joel :)
