STREET SPEAKS OUT

We the streets speak out;

We reflect moonlight

The ice crystals reflect headlights and street lamps

knives stab and the stain of blood

disturbs our peace.

the tragedy of mans cruelty.

when people screamed,

glass flew,

and blood ran

We are walked upon.

For you commit the horror and you

who would deny.

The bombings,

slaughter of innocent children,

often we streets sparkle in the night.

and lovers kisses.

We also reflect the hate of man when bullets fly,

We reflect the fires of the night,

We were witnesses of a night,

guns blazed,

Shuls burned

We are your servants.

We stand silent and still.

And you who found in us your

place to die.

We have seen it all.

the rape,

and the night of broken glass,

we will not forget.

How about you?
