Rap Review:

Eminem »

Eminem was an excellent and talented artist, prior to "The Eminem Show", which just screamed "help me, I've sold out and I don't remember what mattered". Marshall Mathers' first well known CD "The Slim Shady LP" was an excellent combination of lyrical fun, with songs like "Guilty Conscinence" and "If I had", and a release of aggretion, with "Just Don't Give A Fúck" and it's sequal "Still Don't Give A Fúck". The Marshall Mathers LP seemed like more of an effort to get recognised through controversy, and it worked, flawlessly. In today's PC world Eminem spoke out against everything that is considered normal, and every self-righteous group crawled out of the woodwork to protest, and all that accomplished was to promote him even further, way to go conceted-I'm-always-right-everything-has-to-be-fair-and-equal-hate-the-haters!
