Some of my bomb nuggets...

Well just to let you in on Freehand, I have been working on it for about a year now. When I came to New Hampshire I was enrolled in an emotional growth boarding school, as weird as it may seem, but I was looking to get better at guitar. I was into the jam scene; String Cheese Incident, Keller William's, Phish, Moe., The Big Wu, and so I experimented with my skills, and over time I got better at the guitar. I really wanted to capture my own style. I did and played around with it. I have about 45 songs that are complete, and not any of them sound the same at all. Some are dark, some are jammy, some have weird tunings, some are picking, you know a good mix. It wasn't until I had been at the school for about 3 months that I started writing music, and even then my voice was short and my lyrics needed work. A lot had to be done on my part to improve my music. And I didn't even know that I would have a cd by the time I left. My goal is to get my music out there with a fan base, and booking gigs, hopefully, and playing as many cafe's and open mics as possible. I love you mom and dad, thanks for always being there. If anybody comes across this site and wants more information or wants a copy of my cd, e-mail me and I'll send it out for free. Mando Jam is a good over dub that I rattled out with a full EEEEBE tuning and a standard mandolin tuning. I laid them together and got sort of a Indian style feel. Well e-mail me if you have any questions. Thanks for checking this out, take it easy... Peace, Charlie Bessette
