The Top 10 Albums of 2003
According to Joe Sweeney

In a year filled with topsy turvy ups and downs in this crazy, mixed-up world of ours, I liked some albums. Here they are, in no particular order (by which I mean strictly regimented from 1 to 10). Feel free to click on the fancy-dancy hyperlinks to read my high-falootin' thoughts on my choices. You'll notice that Kansas' Point Of Know Return album does not appear on this list. It finished a close 11th, even though it was released in 1977.

1. Outkast - Speakerboxxx/The Love Below

2. Ed Harcourt - From Every Sphere

3. Randy Newman – The Randy Newman Songbook, Vol. 1

4. Radiohead – Hail To The Thief

5. Matthew Shipp - Equlilibrium

6. The Weakerthans - Reconstruction Site

7. Basement Jaxx - Kish Kash

8. Andrew Bird - Weather Systems

9. David Bowie – Reality

10. Willie Nelson & Ray Price – Run That By Me One More Time
