Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota was founded in 1903 at the University School of Music in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Des Moines Alumnae Chapter was started November 17, 1935 and currently has 41 members. Those who are living in the Des Moines area are welcome to join our group anytime.
