ZIGGY MARLEY AT MANDALAY BEACH-MANDALAY BAY LAS VEGAS 05/19/07

Standing in the wave pool...an ocean vibe, concert goers grooved to the sounds of Ziggy Marley last night at Mandalay Beach...at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas.

Upon entering the pool area guest lounged in sand boxes, some sit with their legs dangling in the water, while other swim and danced in the wave pool.

After about an hour Robert Randolph and the Family Band took to the stage. Randolph did a moving jam session, that included the songs, "Jesus Is Alright With Me, and Jammed an instrumental of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."

Once Ziggy's band members took the stage..everyone moved closer to the stage...the best view was off to the sides of the stage, giant speakers lined the front of the stage which was very high above the water.

From the opening songs, and through out the show...the Marley vibe was strong. Ziggy played songs from his grammy award winning album, "Love Is My Religion", "At The Beach In Hawaii", "A Life Time" and Bob Marley songs included "Rastaman Vibration", Is This Love," and Jammin. He also played songs from the Melody Makers days that included the hits, "Tomorrow People", "Conscious Party", "Look Who Dancing" and one of my favorites "Justice". Ziggy ended the show with "Love Is My Religion", after finishing the song Ziggy greeted the people and told them that he love them.

All n all an excellent show with great vybz.
