TIGER RANKS

With a unique blend of reggae and hip-hop. Tiger Ranks is about to explode on to the music scene. With the inspiration of Bob Marley "The King Of Reggae," Bounty Killer, Sizzla, and Beenie Man, Tiger uses a combination of hip hop and dancehall lyrics to create a powerful sound that is unmatched by other artists.

Although he compares his sound to that of Beenie Man and Bounty Killa, Tiger feels that his innovative blend of sounds sets him apart from other artists.

In what began at open-mic events at the age of 16, Tiger found that musically reggae was his fit. "I've been at music for a long time, "he says, "I had tried hip-hop and R & B, and those didn't work for me, reggae works."

Originally from Jamaica, Tiger's unique style, fusing reggae and hip-hop, brings a new dimension to both genres. Tiger presently lives in Philadelphia, where he is finishing his forthcoming album,

"Mr. Rankin." After years of building a following on the regional music scene, Tiger is poised to break out in a major way.

This summer Tiger will be featured on as exciting live tour in the Mid-Atlantic region, sponsored and hosted by Sneaker Villa, a prominent athletic apparel retailer dedicated to giving back to and maintaining ties with the local community. In addition, Tiger's song, "Drop," will be featured on the Reggaeton album, "Enlace".
