My Favorite bands/singers

Pink

Pink is special because she is different from everyone else and she is not afraid to show it. she is also honest which makes her lyrics easier to relate to. Pink is amazing to me because even with all her fame she manages to stay a normal girl and appriciate what she has. When you get sick of seeing all the fake singers on MTV or hearing them on the radio you can look at Pink and she will always be real.

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne has songs that everyone can relate to while still being somewhat meaningfull, Avril is on my list because she was my first favorite singer and she taught me that there is nothing better you can do than to be yourself and not fake it so people will like you. I think Avril is important because she brings back meaning to music and that is something we all need.

Good Charlotte

When you first hear Good Charlotte you might think they are just another pop trend but if you listen to what they are saying you realize that this band has talent and something to say. they make honest lyrics that have the power to help people. It still amazes me every time I go on a Good Charlotte site and hear a fan saying that Good Charlotte saved their life. Also behind all the tattoos spikes and hair gell The members of good Charlotte are sweet guys who love their fans and find joy in helping people. Good Charlotte will continue on longer than all the other pop trends because they have a connection with their fans that will always keep them going.

No Doubt

No Doubt is amazing to me because not very many bands stay together for that long without breaking up. Aslo No Doubt continues to have catchy tunes while mostly sticking to their original sound. No Doubt stand out to me because most bands that make music today are rebellious and angry where as No Doubt is just a fun band and they always have been. Its kind of refreshing to see a band that really has fun making their music.

Rancid

Rancid is unusual because while their songs and Tim's voice add a sort of punk sound there coruses are poppy which makes them more popular and widely known then other punk bands. I am a fairly new Rancid fan but I put them on this list because they are a very talented band who has been through alot and writes about it in their lyrics.

Linda Perry

Most people if they have heard of her at all probably know Linda Perry as a song writer and producer for Pink's "Get This Party Started" and Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" but Linda Perry also had her Own band Called The 4 Non Blondes and two solo albums. Linda Perry is incredible because everything she has worked on has been amazing. She is an excellent song writer and also has an wonderful voice.
