National Monument emerged on the Winnipeg scene in 2003. Their first apperences were explosive and very entertaining and they began to captivate audiences in and out of the clubs. The members Include Jason Hovland-Guitar/Vocals, Alex Janusz - Guitar/Vocals, Jim D.- Bass, Kelly castle - Drums. They have toured out west to very accepting crowds. Their songs can be compared to bands such as Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, Television, and Trumans Water. Of all the bands that you would like to check out in this world but can't cause there are so many of them, National Monument Remains at the top of the list for many people.
