Welcome! My name is Jonah Weingarten and I am the keyboardist for the Melodic Power Metal Band Pyramaze. In addition to this I am a freelance studio musician. The main purpose of this website is to promote myself, as I am available for side projects/bands etc. If you look around you will find sound clips of projects that I have done (both serious and for fun). Also you can see what kind of equipment I use and even read album reviews by myself, my webmaster Tony, and my friend Ben Buzan, who also writes for metal reviews.com. This site will be updated weekly, so bookmark me and enjoy! -Jonah Weingarten

12/2/03 Thanks to my best friend Tony, the official Jonah Weingarten website is up and running. I would like to personally thank him for busting his ass to do such a good job on the layout etc. You rule! If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, you will notice a section entitled “weekly updates.” As the title suggests, this will be updated weekly with my current play list and info about that, as well as jokes, stupid pictures, and other assorted commodities. So make sure to check that out. And don’t forget to sign my guestbook.

Weekly Updates
Janne Warman keyboardist for Children Of Bodom, slamming on his keyboards in the Tuska 2003 tour. I get to witness Janne play his keyboards in an upcoming concert in DC, although they arn't headling I'm sure it will be a night to remember!

Janne Warman is one of the leading influences on my style. His quick talented solos had me in awe from the first time I heard them. Children of Bodom aside from being my favorite band, is a brilliant blend of raw power and speed.

Top 5 Play List:

1. Children Of Bodom: Hate Crew Death Roll

2. Cradle of Filth: From the Cradle to Enslaved

3. In Flames: Ordinary Story

4. Soilwork: Follow the Hollow

5. Nightwish: Bless the Child

Cradle of Filth coming at #2 this week is some of the best death metal to date. COF has always been a personal favorite of mine, this was the first metal band I listened too. Their sound was intense, the music was perfection, I spent many days cruising in my car to the sounds of COF. I have to show my respect becuase with out COF I might not have found out that metal was as much my life as breathing.

From the Cradle to Enslaved. Not many songs start off with a better intro/build up. The guitar, drums, keys, and killer bass line cause this song to be an insain kick to the head. While listening to this song you just want to beat the living crap out of anyone around. That is why this song and COF are in the number 2 spot of the week.
