Tuesday, March 9, 2004Lisa fans, if it is not to late, I would advise you not to watch tonight's episode of American Idol. Randy said that Lisa had potentially one of the best voices in the competition, and yet they did not even let her sing.I am extremely sad and angry. I could have handled her not being one of the four to go the finals. I was prepared for that. But for them to not even give her a chance to sing, and not give us a chance to vote, that is unforgivable. Monday, March 8, 2004I changed the layout of the site and added the new group pic for the wildcard round. Don't forget to vote tomorrow!There are rumors circulating that Lisa did well during the rehearsals for the WC round and there may be a good chance that Randy will choose her to go to the finals. (Keep in mind these are only rumors.) HOWEVER, it's still incredibly important that we vote for Lisa Tuesday night. Ideally we want to make sure that Lisa gets through based on audience votes, since that is the way the show is done for the rest of the season. We want Lisa to be seen as an audience favorite--keep in mind that Clay Aiken (who placed second last season and has been incredibly successful since) was the voted through for his wildcard round. Let's do the same for Lisa! Tuesday night we will see 8 people chosen to perform, and hopefully Lisa will be one of them. Voting lines are open for 2 hours after the show. You can vote as many times as possible until the lines are closed. This is going to be an incredibly competitive night, as it is the last chance for any of these 12 to continue on the show and all their fans are going to be out in force! Expect busy signals, expect discomfort and frustration--but DO NOT STOP VOTING. Because there are already 6 females in the finals, we are going to have to work incredibly hard to push Lisa through--the guys will already have a major advantage. Remember we cannot control who the judges select, but if we get Lisa enough votes she will make it through. :) I've typed up 12 Voting Tips to get Lisa voted through tomorrow night. It's kind of long, but includes strategies put to use by fans in previous seasons and probably has some things you didn't think of before. It's printer-friendly--print it out and have it to refer to on voting night if you start to feel dazed and confused after listening to the recording too many times. ;) Wednesday, March 3, 2004It's official: LISA WILL BE BACK FOR WILDCARD NEXT WEEK!Tuesday, March 2, 2004There is a rumor going around the net that Lisa has been invited back for the WildCard round on American Idol. 12 contestants will be invited back and will be observed again by the judges. From that group, 8 will be given another chance to perform on television. Of this group, 4 will be chosen to become finalists--each judge will choose one contestant and the fourth is the winner of America's vote. So let's hope this rumor is true and we get to see Lisa again! (Hopefully next week!)I added 14 new pictures to the images section. This site is in honor of the American Idol semi-finalist who was tragically robbed last Wednesday. It's a shame that of a group that American Idol practically declared the worst round EVER, the best singer did not even advance.This site has been started to help "spread the word" so that Lisa can be brought back for the Wild Card round of the show.
