Third Period Health Class- I'm Getting An A In Anatomy

Chapter 1 – Monday

For a Monday, it’s amazing that I'm even awake. But in third period- I never close my eyes.

One. Two. Three. Four. Four rows of desks. Second desk from the end. I can’t remember how many times this equation has run through my mind. Everyday in third period. Not once a day but minute after minute.

Health class. Also known as easy A class. The teacher speaks and I half listen- never letting my gaze off the boy I dream of. “We need books for this next assignment. Let’s see- Benjamin and Leslie- pass out books.” I laugh, lame excuse for a teacher to be lazy.

My inner laughter is abruptly stopped. Benji. My secret crush is passing out books. As much as I would love any interaction with him- I am terrified.

My palms instantly turn clammy. My eyes watch uneasily as he nears the stack of books. The normally cold room has become a bleak desert.

Please let Leslie give me my book. My mind is chanting.

He picks up a stack of books- arms flexing to drop books on desks. I watch his beautiful body as he nears the desk in front of mine.

But there are no more books in his hands. He offers a smile and turns back around.

I watch his backside -returning a smile.

He picks up one book and puts it back.

What is he doing? My mind screams.

Picking out a book near the bottom he turns and smiles once again.

I feel the invisible sweat collecting on my brow.

Five. Six. Seven steps and he is back at my desk.

He’s picked out a new book for me.

His smile lights up the room.

I smile back and he extends a confident hand- whereas my confidence flew out the window the second I stepped into the door.

I will my hand to reach up and take the book- making sure my shaking doesn’t show.

The cool plastic cover slides into my grip and he smiles wider- those adorable dimples appearing.

I nod a thanx and brace myself to speak, “Thanx Benji.”

He nods back, “Welcome Billy.”

My name rolls off his tongue as he steps back to finish his task.

I am in heaven. Mother Fucking Heaven.

I sit back and watch him through the rest of the class. My eyes never leaving his countenance.

Before I know it the bell rings. I look up at the clock and sigh- next hour is my free class. Looking back down I pick up my bag and stand out of my chair.

I look back up and my gaze falls undeniably on Benji.

He is looking directly at me.

His gaze doesn’t falter or fade.

He doesn’t look away like I would have.

He smiles and all I can do is smile back.

His friend steps up to him and begins to talk and he looks at me one last time before acknowledging the person beside him.

I watch as he turns and leaved the room and I am left standing alone with a giddy goofy smile plastered on my face.

I practically skip to the conference room where I spend my free period- ready to waste all my time dreaming of his smile.

(a/n: okay so I'm gonna do a thing like this was Monday the next chapter will be Thursday and the last will be Friday- so stay tuned. I dunno when I can get time to type again. I based this on this cutie in my third period health class. His name is Tommy and he is adorable. Hes a sophomore (I'm a senior) so I don’t really “want” him the way Billy does but it was a good inspiration. Tommy is so adorable- if I can scan my yearbook ill show you all a pic of him.

so review- please? I love hearing from you all and if you took time to read this how hard is it to click on the little link and write at least a “loved it” or even “hated it” please people? The reviews are what I live for. (ps like the title? *teeheehee) Laters Lonely Stars!)
