Eine Welt, Eine Volk, Eine Fuhrer! The Nazi cry for a
world domination of the Aryan race echoes out through the world of Maximilian
Kolbe, a Franciscan priest, a hero worthy to be emulated by the society
of today. Beyond the ruthlessness of
the Nazi theme of lies, and hatred that sprawl all over Europe, Kolbe created
a whole new plan of world domination, a world dedicated to the cause of Mary
Immaculate, the Queen. |

A mix of modern day
heroism and chivalrous dedication to one’s King and Queen, KOLBE: Martyr of Charity, highlights the life
of an ordinary man with a vision. Theatrically
enhanced to a Broadway drama, combined with music that brings out the
nobility of one who dedicates himself to a cause…a knight in God’s army. |

With an exciting array of spectacles, from set design to
authentically prepared costumes that depict the era of Kolbe, a silent drill
of Nazi Soldiers, dancing friars, European comedy, heart-pounding music,
tear-jerking drama, the play enables one to get into the action of the
Auschwitz concentration camp. |

It is possible to love in hell…the central theme of the
play, touches its viewers most especially the youth who have learned that
loving isn’t possible unless you are loved back. Kolbe pursues the human ability to rise up from one’s
limitations and continue to believe that life is beautiful. This is reminiscent of the stories of
Braveheart, Schindler’s list, and Life is beautiful. Music reflects the character of musicals
such as Oliver, Les Miserables, Disney’s Prince of Egypt and so on. |

Terror, Fear, Hate collide with Faith, Hope and
Love. This powerful musical presents
to the youth of today that it is when we firmly believe in something despite
all the obstacles, we end up winning.
More so that the play is presented by today’s youth filled with vigor
and life, of mixed religions and backgrounds, this effectively delivers a
staunch message of being human. |
