Hi and welcome to K Flip Recordings. K Flip Recordings was created in 1996 by J Cabralda with nothing but a simple Sony cassette recorder. Experimentation with more sensitive cassette recorders, microphones and basic recording programs such as Microsoft's Sound Recorder had soon followed. Though with only Monaural recordings produced at the time, J had to simplify the "art" of mixing without a mixing board or a 4-track analog recorder by only using the balance of distance and volume in 2001. Not long after, vast technological improvements came upon K Flip in 2002 with the introduction of a new mixing board, hardware, and software. At K Flip, studio recordings were now produced in stereo along with live recordings. We hope to begin our audio-conversion from stereo to 5.1 Dolby Surround soon.
