The Hi-Risers are happy to announce the release of their new cd - In The Spotlight!! Produced by The Hi-Risers, the disc features fifteen new originals including current stage favorites such as "One Note Joe", "My Girl Valvoline" and "Johnny Jim and Jack". They also cover the incredible "Co-Education" and the rock 'n roll standard "Spark Plug". Let me tell you, Todd, Jim and Greg worked hard this year! The disc is released on the amazing Spinout Records owned by the coolest rock n roll couple anywhere - Eddie and Melanie Angel!

The Hi-Risers want to thank everyone for making their release party such a success! Thanks to all who came down and to those who helped promote the show for us. It was great to see so many friends and we promise next time we'll do it at a more comfortable venue...For those who couldn't pick up the cd at the show, we will have it available at all upcoming shows. The disc will also be in the stores and available over the internet at the Spinout website. By the way, the Rochester D&C gave it a big thumbs up, saying 'right from the first song it sounds as if The Hi-Risers invented 57 Chevy dashboard rock 'n roll'...

Panic continues to get great reviews! The All Music Guide gave it four stars and called it a 'supercharged, spark plug of a record'. Check out the review on their website...

The Hi-Risers have a song included on the latest compilation from Sound Asleep Records. The series is called Hit The Hay and the latest is Volume Five. Many of the best Americana bands are on the the two disc set and The Hi-Risers are represented by 'Ain't No Beatle' from the 'Panic' CD. Check out the Sound Asleep website for more details...

'Panic' spent two months at number one on WITR's Whole Lotta Shakin! No wonder they have the coolest show on the radio and the internet - check them out on our links page!

The Morells, the greatest Rock 'n' Roll band ever, have covered Greg's song "Last Nite I Spent My Money" on their lastest self titled disc, out now on Slewfoot Records. Greg can now retire comfortably...

The Hi-Risers had a ball playing with the great Bill Kirchen and his rockin' band Too Much Fun at Milestones April 30th! The night was a match made in Twang Heaven! Bill and the band had very nice things to say about The Hi-Risers set. Bill even called Greg up on stage for a trombone/guitar duel! Don't miss Bill and TMF when they roll into your town...

Pick up everything you can by The Hi-Risers fave band The Neanderthals!

Todd and Greg have been working with former Hi-Risers drummer and Squire of the Subterrain, Christopher Earl, on tracks for his collaboration with the legendary Big Boy Pete. The tracks sound very cool and will be out soon. Chris and Pete collaborated on 15 songs that pete started writing in 1966! Amazing stuff...

On a very sad note, The Hi-Risers mourn the loss of Chuck Cuminale a/k/a Colorblind James. Chuck was an inspiration to us and will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and also to his fellow band members.
