Jason Smay

The only guy in the band without (a need for) a mic, Jason sure gets his point across with crisp rolls and sharp rim shots. He can also drive a surf beat to the next shore or stir soup till the cows come home! And when it comes to arranging the endless flow of new material, Jason is full of suggestions (even if he isn’t asked).

History:
Jason has worked with many in the Rochester music scene, but finds true happiness with The Hi-Risers.

Gear:
When it comes to gear…. Well let’s just leave this one alone.

Goals:
A few goals Jason is working towards are, having the same set of drums for longer than 6 months. Let the other guy’s in the band drive the van, and learn to sing(this one may never happen).
