Today's singing was exceptional, in addition to the great food and wonderful singing we had the largest turnout I had ever seen. There were reporters and photographers from "The New York Times". "Sacred Harp" is now on the musical map. Everyone seemed to have a good time.
Also, Rodney Ivey and some of the other wonderful singers that regularly attend and sing at "Liberty Baptist Church" were not able to come to this singing because they were busy performing on the "Academy Awards Show" along with "Allison Kruass". They were missed and I'm sure they regret missing the singing and getting their picture in the paper.
