“Who I Am”, first off prays to god for all of the lessons I’ve learned, and ones I still have to learn, the loves, sadness, the pain, loss, and most of all the real live events that have shaped me to be the person I am today, through it is always going to be a struggle I believe the gift and good heart you’ve given me, things you show and still continue to show me, giving me the strength to follow my heart and my dreams at a time still tit’s hard for me to stay true to myself, including dealing with my family and thru so many broken hearts to bare. With this starting album it is NOT just a demo. You’ve helped me to address and feel things I never thought I could feel before. Please continue to watch over me, and all of the people in this world. Help me strength my belief in myself, as I know you’ll always believe in me…

To my family, No matter what happens I’ll always love you and not matter what I know you feel the same, This album is a testament to show you that I won’t give up on my dreams or give up on you finally let yourself be a big part of my life not just a small part of it. I’ve always been your “lil Gerald” but that’s just a small part of the person you’ve grown up with. I pray for the day you can just love and respect me for me…

Coco, My ghetto sister, you were always the one I the family I could talk to and share things and not be judged by them (sad to say) even though I’m far away now trying to find a place for myself to grow and even though I give you a hard time, ragging on you its just my brotherly way of showing how much “I love you and always will”…

Prof. Steven Easterling, though we only get to see each other on the weekend as you help me develop my talent as a singer, I wanted to take this time to thank you for having faith in me and my true potential. You know I still have a long way to go, but in taking me as your student you’ve slowly helped turn a city kid’s dream close to being a reality. Pray for me ok?…

To all my close friends, and those involved with the LGBT center at U of M flint. Thank you for keeping me grounded, listening to my thoughts and feelings and especially having so much faith in me that I could be more than I never thought I could be, just me GLB!!…

Kate, you are wonderful, down to earth, and truly dear to me even though we’ve only known each other for a short while, you’ve made a difference and you know it. Next time I’ll teach you more ghetto stuff to keep you hip, but so how I think you’re hip enough….

Adam, Thank you for keeping me laughing thru out the days, when my life just sucked. I hope someday you find more happiness in life.

Andy, You are a special friend to me and I don’t get to say that about of guys I know. You believed in me before I even came to be at U of M flint. Love you honey + thank you…

Mr. Glenn Klipp, You are the first friend I made in Ann Arbor and I appreciate all the things that you've done for me. I will never forget the time, and effort that you've given to me.

Ryan Gage, We've just met and you've helped me a lot when things were very hard for me to deal with. I pray that things work out for you as well...
