CLASSES

These cars use the same chassis as the 4-cell classes,except they use an inexpensive 6-cell 1600mAh battery pack and a 21-turn Street Spec motor. The bodies used are NASCAR bodies (Chevy,Dodge,Ford,Pontiac) with clear wings mounted on back window or rear pod of the chassis-similar to the other 4-cell oval classes.

This is a "controlled" class,in which all cars in this class MUST use the aforementioned battery & motor combo. There is also a semi-fixed gear ratio that everyone in this class must adhere to. The end result is a comparatively fast class without the unfortunate cost of "battery/motor-of-the-week" that could happen in other classes.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PRO STREET SPEC CAR

• Any "Pan" oval chassis
• Any NASCAR stock car body
• 21-turn "Street Spec" motor,"S" brushes,black or silver brush springs
• 6-cell 1300 or 1600mAh Nickel-Cadmium (NiCad) "Street Spec" labeled battery packs only. 1500mAh 6-cell Nickel-Cadmium sport packs acceptable. Any battery/speed control connectors legal.
• Must use a 100-tooth 64-pitch spur with any 64-pitch pinion up to 28-teeth.
• Any on-road/oval foam tires only. No capped tires.
• Wing optional,but highly recommended!

This class is for the 4WD Touring cars. These are generally cars with 4-wheel independent suspension,19-turn motor with fixed 24 degrees of timing & 6-cell battery packs. The bodies resemble a lot of the 4-door import & domestic cars (BMW,Mazda,Alfa Romeo,Dodge Stratus,etc)

This class runs on the road course inside of the big oval.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A 19-TURN TOURING CAR

• Any on-road chassis
• Any 4-door Touring car body
• Any Roar-approved 19-turn 24 degree fixed endbell motor. No adjustable timing 19-turn motors allowed!
• 6-cell battery pack
• Capped rubber tires only. No foams

30-Lap Breakout

If you're a beginning driver,or an experienced driver looking to race in something completely different,then the "30-lap Breakout class might be for you. It's all about "how close you can get to running 30 laps in 4 minutes WITHOUT going over?"

In this class,any type of car can be run with any type of body,battery and/or motor. Touring cars,oval cars,Nastrucks,Legends cars...it doesn't matter! Having fun,learning how to tune your car & getting close to 30 laps without going over is the name of this game!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A 30-LAP BREAKOUT CAR

• Any "on-road" or "oval" chassis
• Any car or truck body
• Any motor allowed
• Any battery pack allowed
• Foam tires only. No capped tires.
• Wings optional!
