His work was best known in bands like Anabel Lopez and Horus, but he worked with many other bands. One of them was Augusto Enriquez Band, the first band he toured Italy with. Fito is known as one of the most influential guitar players of his generation in Cuba. His musicianship made him the best progressive heavy metal guitar player from 1989 to 1994. The first group he worked with as a lead guitar player was Gedisis, back in the summer of 1988.
