5.27.03 - We will be playing the Taste of the Illinois Valley on Sunday June 8th. Our set will be from 3 - 4:30 p.m. We have some new material to try out ,and it's free admission,  so be sure to stop out.  Check out our shows page for the rest of our summer dates. In other news, our new promo picture is available on the media page.

3.30.03 - We are Co-Headlining Scrouchfest IV with Fixate from Dekalb IL, this Friday,  8 bands for 5 bucks, this is supposed to be the biggest show of the year, so come out if you can make it.  We have a few town festivals booked this summer so check out the shows page for info.  Also we are in the works of planning an East Coast tour this summer with Missing in Action and Project Mayhem,  I will post details as soon as we get everything set up.

2.26.03 - Sorry for the lack of updates, we've been pretty busy the last couple weeks.  I've updated the shows page, with a few upcoming shows in March.  We are going to be at Ale Mary's (21+) this Saturday with Cheese Pizza, so come out for a good time.  Show starts around 10:30 p.m. On March 14th, we are going to be back at the 9th Street Pub in LaSalle, Headlining the night, Egon's Unicat will be opening.  In other news, our first recording session for our long awaited EP is March 8th so hopefully in a month or so we will finally have a disc out, check back for more details.

1.12.03 - We are booked at 9th Street (21+) for Saturday, January 25th.  We will be opening for Fixate from Dekalb, IL. I'm not positive yet, but John is thinking about doing a No Cover that night, so come check it out.

1.9.03 - Alright, lots of news.  We have a couple shows next month.  On the 8th of Feb. We will be playing an all ages show with Undermine, DROPT, and S.W.E., at the Cancun in Ladd.  The show starts at 7 and it should be kick ass, so come check it out.  Then on Feb. 15, we will be doing an acoustic set at the Trade Show in Princeton.  We will have a booth there all weekend with a visual display and a bunch of cool stuff if anyone wants to come hang out.  Later that night we will be heading over to Cancun again to play with Dublo Seven, Hong Kong Electric Company, and one more band still TBA.  Show starts at 7 pm and there will be a $5 cover.  It should be a good time, so make sure you swing by.

12.22.02 - We have a couple shows booked in February, one being an unplugged show in Princeton IL, so check out the shows page for details. We have been rehearsing some new material and have added a couple new songs to our set, and we are currently working on a new original called "Death of You", which should be done pretty soon. That's all for now, hope to see everyone (21+) at 9th Street this weekend. Also. we are working on getting a lot more all ages shows going for next year, so be on the lookout for us.

11.30.02 -   The shows at the Pub last week was great.  The crowd was awesome.  We are booked at 9th Street (21+) again on December 28th with Undermine.  We are working on writing and arranging some new songs, so we should have some cool new material by the next few weeks. I uploaded the pics from the Cancun show on the 1st, and the FOB article from the Newstribune is available on the media page if you want to check it out.

11.6.02 - Saturday November 23rd we will be opening for DROPT at the 9th Street Pub (21+)  We will be on the Homegrown Show on 100.9 FM that week with the members of Dropt for an interview, so keep your ears open.  We are seriously going into the studio this Spring to record a full length LP.  The album will be recorded at Vital Recordables and will contain around 11 or 12 songs.  Hopefully production will start around February.  Also I've added "Virus" to the lyrics page, I updated the Song list and the shows page, so feel free to check them out.

10.18.02 - We have 3 shows coming up.  We are going to be headlining 9th Street Pub next Friday, this is a 21+ show and there is no cover.  The Deadbeats will be opening for us.  November 1st we will be playing a show at Cancun in Ladd with Rebekah's Tape, SWE, and Hong Kong Electric Company.  Show starts at 7 p.m. and it's $4.  We will be opening for The Snaggs at the 9th Street Pub on Saturday November 2nd.
    In other news, we have written a new song called "Virus."  we hope to record it soon.  You can hear us on 100.9 FM's Homegrown Show next Thursday at 7 p.m. so keep you ears open for that.  Hopefully we will get some new pictures up from the upcoming shows soon.   

9.8.02 - We opened for Pil~Sun last night at the 9th Street Pub.  It was our first show since June, so it was pretty cool.  This Saturday night, the 14th, we are playing in Princeton IL.  There is a block party in the parking lot of the Covenant Church on Main St.  We will be playing along with Odd Man Out, The Malcontent, The Phobics, Zombie Youth, and our good friends The Deadbeats.  The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and as far as I know it is free, so come one out for a good time.  Anyone is welcome, and it is all ages.  Also, we will be playing at the 9th Street Pub (21+) again on the 21st of September.  We will be opening for Bad Atom.
    Well I finally got around to redesigning the website, I have added a Songs page and Lyrics page, and I have added a few pictures of the show with Pil~Sun, and I have updated the show archive, so check it out. 

8.7.02 - Sorry for the lack of updates.  Not much has been happening up until a little while ago.  Chris is no longer in Friends of Bob.  Zac Hewerd, formerly of Missing in Action, is our new drummer.  We are busy working on a whole new set and will start playing out in the upcoming months.  The CD project is put on hold due to our line up change, but we have a demo of Ninety-Five that we recently recorded with Zac.  It is available on the MP3 page. Also, we will have new pictures up soon.

6.23.02 - I have added some new links and a lot of new pictures to the site, so feel free to check them out. The cd is coming along nicely, we have bass and drum tracks down for a few songs. More updates to come...

6.16.02 - Last night we opened up for The Snaggs from Rockford at the 9th Street Pub. The Taste last week went very well. It was one of our best shows. The crowd was great, and we played pretty good. We are taking the next few weeks off so we can work on our CD, but we will book some more shows next month probably. I have added a lot of pictures so check them out if you want.

6.2.02 - Sunday, June 9 we will be playing the Taste of the Illinois Valley.  It is free to enter and open to all ages. We start at 7:30 p.m.  Also, tonight we are starting the first recording session for our CD.  Hopefully we will have a disc out by the end of summer.

5.18.02 - We opened for Cheese Pizza at the Lounge in Peru on May 10.  Our next show is at the 9th Street Pub in LaSalle on Friday, May 24.  It is a 21+ show.  In other  news there has been several line-up changes for the Music Fest, for more information visit www.thebrainchiggers.com.  The links, and shows pages have been updated so check them out if you want.  We will have new pictures posted soon. 

5.4.02 - We now have tickets available for the Music Fest at LaSalle Speedway.  They are $10.  If you want to purchase a ticket email us or talk to us at a show. 

4.13.02 - We will be playing at the Cancun Restaurant in Ladd on Friday, April 19th along with Rebekah's Tape.  There is a $3.00 cover charge, and the show will start approximately around 7 pm.  Saturday the 20th, at the 9th street pub we will be starting around 10 pm, opening for Big Hello. 

4.10.02 - We have just been booked for the Memorial Day Music Fest at LaSalle Speedway, on Sunday, May 26th.  The bands playing are:

4.10.02 - We have another show booked.  It is on April 20th, at the 9th Street Pub in LaSalle.  We will be opening for Big Hello, from Chicago.  Start time still TBA.  The show is 21+.

4.3.02 - We will be playing this Saturday night at Club Bluz in Streator.  We will be opening up for Undermine again.  We will start around 10:30 pm.  This is a 21+ show.

3.31.02 - Scrouchfest 3 was one of hell of a show, all the bands played well.  Thanks to High Voltage for the awesome PA system.  The gig at the pub with Undermine went great.  We have a new gig booked.  It is Saturday, May 4,  at Ale Mary's in LaSalle.  We are opening for piT. from Bloomington.  This is a 21+ show.  

3.9.02 - Well everything is ready for Scrouchfest. We will be opening the show at 5 and we are going to play until 5:30.  Later that night we are going to head over to the 9th Street Pub in LaSalle to open up for Undermine.  We will be starting there at 10:30. (March 29)

2.28.02 - The website is now online.  Our first recording session with Tom Rose is march 24, so hopefully we will have some sort of a demo out for Scrouchfest 3 which is March 29 this year.  We plan on releasing a full length disc in the next few months, so check back for details.
