I have lots of fun messing with Adobe Photoshop, so I've spent some of that time making Icons (i suppose for Live/Dead Journal).

What can I say? Strange but seemingly cool kid. Just don't get too close, I think he bites...

The mother of all hardcore local [MI] bands. They're on tour currently and have one full-length album, titled "Breathing is Only Half the Function", plus a couple other splits and an EP. Fordirelifesake consists of technical, fast music with screaming vocals and singing harmonies...not to mention good lyrics. If you're into Hopesfall, Poison the Well, etc, then check 'em out.

Originally named Publicity Stunt, these guys have gone from a classic punk sound to a much more hardcore edge since their "formation" in October '02. Tons of energy, kickass live show.

Jon 'n Megan started a record label. So if you're a band looking, then check 'em out, they're doing well...

Ah yes. The Idiot Rebellion's sound has matured into a rather hardcore punk style with both fast and melodic guitar parts. Deep lyrics to match.

Half the Battle is also just heading out on tour recently from Northville, MI. Similar to the other locals here, HTB is fast, hardcore punk with more screaming lyrics and some sweet melodies. Pay attention to their lyrics as well, they've put their hearts and souls into 'em. With their ever-growing popularity, another great live show lies in these boys hands.
