Memorial scholarship created to continue the legacy of two excellent teachers!
Marshall Josef Armstrong Smith & Willie Eva Smith two gifted, and caring educators! Dedicated to education for all as an empowering tool of self-improvement, their lives were spent in the act of ‘teaching’. Students who directly experienced the gift of being in their classroom, and those who benefited from the production of music, by these two talented spirits have been enriched. Even when no longer in a classroom setting Mr. & Mrs. Smith continued to encourage students of all ages to learn. “Knowledge is power that can never be taken away from you”, was their sentiment.
Our goal for this scholarship is to financially support one male and one female through four years of college. Mr. & Mrs. Smith both worked to pay their way through Clark College and knew the sacrifices and hardships endured to graduate. Help make it easier for two students in these difficult, yet exciting times to excel. Let these recipients gain an education without tribulation!
