Elton John Reviews:

Here are some of the reviews from various papers covering the 2002 Stephenville Theatre Festival.  These here are specifically about "That's Why They Call it the Blues" which is a show I starred in as Elton John.  It highlighted the ups and downs of this flamboyant performer with such hit songs as, "Crocodile Rock", "Empty Garden", "Honky Cat", "Rocketman", and "Circle of Life".  The show had its share of minor problems, but was accepted by the public, and deemed one of the greater successes of this summer season.

Winnie the Pooh Review:

Another really great show.  This was one of the two shows in the kid's theatre line-up for this past season of the Stephenville Theatre Festival.  I had the wonderful pleasure of playing as Christopher Robin in this show.  The kids loved it, and we sold out every show, and everyone was extremely happy.  One thing I have learned from my few years of professional theatre is that kid's theatre is most definitely the hardest; kids tell you exactly how they fell, and don't hold anything back.

MIA Rising Stars Tour Review:

This year I was asked to open up in Stephenville for the latest installment of the MIA Rising Stars Tour.  This tour across Newfoundland featured the Cormier's and Maura Hagan; with a different local talent for each major center.  I was very lucky to get to meet Maura, and the Cormier family, and all the band and crew they brought with them.  I especially formed a good friendship with Maura, and she asked me to keep in touch with her as to new developments with my career.  This review was written by Colin Farrell a journalism student at College of the North Atlantic, and a writer for the Troubadour online paper.  It is short, but nice.

Newfoundland and Labrador Drama Festival 2002 Review:

Last year I had the privilege of being in a really nice show, and stretch my acting muscles a bit.  It is a show written by Neil Simon called, "Lost in Yonkers".  The show is about two young boys adventures with their mean Grandmother.  They end up having to live with her and their quirky Aunt Bella for almost a year after being stranded when their father leaves for work during war times.  We had a really good cast for this, having the chance to perform this in Stephenville twice even before gracing the main stage of the St. John's Arts and Culture Center for the Drama Festival.  Here is a review written by Gordon Jones of the Telegram.  It talks about our show as a whole, and the fact that Jonathan Hann and myself both picked up awards for our performances.  This was a very interesting experience...one I'll never forget.
