Why Should I Belong To The Cleveland Polka Association? Spread the word-Monthly meetings which includes free polka dance lessons, pizza night, kielbasa night and a picnic in the hall-A monthly newsletter with band and dance listings both local and afar-A dollar dance this year-A free dance next year-Free live music at meetings-Delicious home baked goods at all our meetings and affairs-Free dance tickets every meeting-Yearly prizes just for attending meetings.
How active is our club? Each year there are five dances, three picnics, ten meetings, bus trips and a Christmas party for only $10 which includes a hot dinner, drinks and dancing-Not to mention all the good fun, friendship and exercise
Pass the word around. The CLEVELAND POLKA ASSOCIATION is a great club to belong to. When you think about it. It costs nothing to belong. What a bargain!!!!!

SCHEDULE OF UPCOMING POLKA EVENTS!!!!!!

Thur - Nov 5 - Chardon Polka Band will be playing at Jewels Dance Hall in Austinburg, Ohio from 6:30 to 10 pm. Cover charge at the door is $5 for dancers only and will go to the band. Jewels is one exit past the Geneva exit on Route 90. Exit at 45 South and go 1 mile and it will be on Mill Street which is on the left. Directions are available on their website at jewelsdancehallonline.com. They have a large stage, great lighting and a large wooden dance floor that legend says has springs underneath it. Food is available and Thurs is. 35c wing night. For more info call 440-354-5997. Jewels is planning on having a dance on the first Thursday of every month.

Wed - Nov 18 - The regular monthly meeting of the Cleveland Polka Association will be held at Ampol Hall 4737 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, Ohio. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm. Sat - Nov 21 - Join the USPA for the annual Polka meets country at Doubletree Hotel in Independence, Ohio (Rockside Rd & I-77) 216-447-1300 with music by Polka Country Musicians and Laredo. Music from 7 pm to 1 am. Donation $11 per person. Free dance lessons from 6 to 7 pm. Free wings from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. For more info call Barb at 440-886-6157. Sat - Nov 28 - Annual Turkey Trot by the Cleveland Polka Association featuring Polka Family will be at St. John's Byzantine Cathedral at 1900 Carlton Rd. in Parma, Ohio (corner of Broadview and Snow Rd). Music and dancing from 7 to 11 pm. Donation $12. Please bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to Ronald Mcdonald House. Public welcome. For more info call Helenrae at 216-661-5227.

Fri - Dec 4 - Cleveland Polka Association Annual Christmas Dinner Dance featuring Old School will be at St. John Byzantine Cathedral upstairs hall at 1900 Carlton Rd. in Parma, Ohio (S.W. Corner of Broadview and Snow Rd.). Doors open at 5 pm, Cocktails at 6 pm. Meeting at 6:45 pm. Dinner at 7 pm. Music and dancing from 8 pm to midnight. $28 for members and $40 for non-members (includes 1 year membership). Price includes: dinner, open bar and dancing.
