Okay, Here's what ya do!
First of all, you need to understand that my job is to book your band in places like The Caffein Den, Anywhere Cafe, Luna's, Seifert Center, Legion Hall, and possibly bigger places such as: The Fat Cat, The Boardwalk, Catus Club... Basically small clubs, bars, coffee shops, and maybe some fairs or festivals... For now, I'm just keeping it small getting bands some expousure... Then whatever happens, happens.
So I suppose you are all wondering about the COST... Well, here it is. I charge a flat rate of $20.00/show that I book you (if you have 4 members in your band that is only $5.00 each) + 10% of all covers. Note: If your band dose NOT SHOW UP to a show that I book you, unless it is an emergency, you will still have to pay. The reason for this is because it is BOTH of our REPUTATIONS depend on your band to show up. Fair enough?
Okay. Now what I need from your band is an application (Which is basically a pre-constructed promo-pack that includes band info, dates/times and places where your band is avalable to play. A short Bio. about your band, a contract which needs to be printed out, signed and sent to me, along with a picture of the band AND a demo(the more demo's you send in, the more demo's I can send out). NOTE: If, based on your demo, I feel that your band is not "ready" to be playing these shows, I will send everything back to you and ask you to keep practicing, and try agian later.
