When they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, the British Invasion had begun. John married Cynthia on August 25, 1962 and had a son named, Julian Lennon. They divorced on November 8, 1968. On March 20, 1969, John married Yoko Ono. John and Yoko had a son named, Sean Lennon. On December 8, 1980, John Lennon was assissinated by Mark David Chapman in New York City.
Ringo Starr was born Richard Starkey on July 7, 1940 in
Liverpool, Merseyside, England. He was the drummer for the Beatles from 1962 to 1970, her replaced Pete Best. He married Maureen on February 11, 1965. They have three children; Zak Starkey was a drummer with the Who, and a daughter named Lee. Ringo and Maureen divorced on July 17, 1975. On April 27, 1981, Ringo married Barbara Bach. Ringo currently lives in Monaco with his wife Barbara. He also likes to paint.
