Top ten guitar players

This is my opinion on my top ten guitar players. And really, this isn't in any particular order so mah.

#1 Zakk Wylde

Zakk Wylde is best known for playing alongside Ozzy Osbourne. Zakk started playing for Ozzy at the young age of 19. Zakk's skill and style is amazing because he picks lightning fast. He has also mastered the two handed tap technique.

#2 Edward Van Halen

Eddie Van Halen was undoubtedly one of the most influential guitarists ever. Eddie is most known for employing the two handed tap technique, it was the most copyed move in the 80's. Not only can Eddie play the guitar, he can also play the keyboard.

#3 Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page was the guitarist for one of the most popular bands ever:Led Zeppelin. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant wrote the song Stairway to Heaven, one of the most popular songs ever. Jimmy was also the first to use a double neck Gibson SG. Jimmys skill is amazing.

#4 Randy Rhoads

The first to incorporate classical music into the metal sound. He played with the legendary "Ozzy Osbourne" and formed the one hit wonders: "Quiet Riot". He plays Jackson and ripped it up on stage. He made the legendary song, Crazy Train, that is played by many young posers (I'm one of them) still to this day.

#5 Dimebag Darrell

Dimebag Darrell is the guitarist for the ever so popular metal band, Pantera. Dime is known for his heavy riffs, but he can also do one hell of a solo. Dime is probably one of the best metal guitarists today(along with Zakk)

#6 Adrian Smith

Adrian Smith, one of the guitarists for Iron Maiden. Adrians riffs and solos influenced many of todays heavy metal guitarists. He has lightning fast hands and he rips it up like crazy, he truly is amazing.

#7 Kirk Hamett

Kirk Hammett is the guitarist for Metallica. Kirk is the replacement for Dave Mustaine, but I believe that Kirks style kicked Dave's in the balls. Kirk has also created the very successful guitar company, ESP guitars. Did I mention he's a hell of a guitar player.

#8 Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix revolutionized the way we paly the electric guitar. He would create an amazing sound with amp experiments that created cool sounding feedback and roaring distortion. He'd do crazy guitar stunts, behind the back, playing with his teeth, and lighting his guitar on fire. Jimi could do it all.

#9 Slash

Slash was the lead guitarist for Guns n Roses. He established himself as one of the best guitarists in the 80's. I like his style and the way he plays. His part on the album Appetite for Destruction was huge, and theres good guitar on that album.

#10 Angus Young

Angus is the lead guitarist for one of the best bands ever, AC/DC. He and his brother Malcom wrote practically everything and made into rocking anthems like Back in Black and Highway to Hell, just to name a few. Angus is known for his energy on stage, and he is also one of the most underated guitarists ever.
