“The most embarrassing and most memorable moment for me is when I tried to sell Jin Tha MC a own ticket to his own show.” lol

The story begins @ Hot Import Nights 2002 (HIN) @ the Georgia World Congress Center.  I was part of NV Entertainment promoting the concert by passing out flyers for JIN Tha MC special live performance Saturday, August 10, 2002 @ Nike Pavilion. Atlanta, GA.  I eventually landed behind the DJ booth selling tickets to Jin’s concert.    Now inside the Georgia World Congress Center, behind the booth selling tickets is when JIN Tha MC nonchalantly/casually walks up towards me and asks me literally, “How much are the tickets selling for?”  How foolish was I? I began to give him my sales pitch…I said “BUY IT HERE AND I’LL GIVE YOU A $5 DISCOUNT… PLUS, YOU’LL EVEN HAVE A SPECIAL VIP ENTRANCE  (duh) why? I wasn’t sure if it was Jin or not? He asked me how much they are.  So, prior to the show, rumors were flying about his appearance but no one was expecting Jin to show up.  Plus, the only time I saw Jin was LIVE on BET, when he won 7 straight freestyle battles on the show 106 and Park to get in the hall of fame.

So, when I realized I was eye to eye trying to sell a ticket to Jin, I was shock, more importantly, embarrassed (lol)… Jin was so funny though, (lol) he took the flyer I handed him and placed it against the right side of his face, jokingly, trying to tell me that it is him, JIN Tha MC on the flyer... Afterwards, we gave each other a respectable hug and handshake and went our separate ways... cool huh?  But wait… that’s not all.… I thought he would forget what happened, but jokingly (funny man) while he was taking photos with his fan, he spotted me from afar and said to his fans, “yo, this guy tried to sell me tickets to my own show."  I was so embarrassed.

Well, that was my most embarrassing moment.  Finally, my most memorable moment is when I chilled… BACKSTAGE the entire night with Jin… from prep, to sound check, to opening, to closing.  I am A few that saw the entire live performance backstage while JIN Tha MC rocked the crowd to the song “I like girls, girls, girls, girls, Asian girls galore….”  Here is when I became a huge fan of Jin.  Mad props to Jin.
