Our Work & Play at Six Flags- June 2009
On Saturday, June 6, 2009, the 6th grade orchestra under the direction of Sara Tribou,
and the 7/8 orchestra under the direction of Michelle Williams,
traveled to Lake George for
the Musical Carousel Festival at the Great Escape.
Both groups performed for two adjudicators and both received the highest rating of "Superior."
Following the outstanding performances the students spent the day enjoying the rides at the Great Escape.
A big thank you to the South Colonie Friends of Music
who sponsored the purchase of t-shirts that were worn by the orchestra students.
They looked great!
