to Radio Manufacturers
Geneva, April 11, 2002 - STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM) announced today
that the company has now shipped a total of 355,000 XM Satellite Radio chipsets
to XM's radio manufacturers up to the end of the first quarter 2002.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- TiVo Inc. raised its 2002 revenue target
Thursday and reported a smaller-than-expected second-quarter loss on improved
licensing revenue and sales of TV recorders.
The company also said it found an accounting error -- apparently made
under the watch of former auditor Arthur Andersen -- in calculating certain
noncash items related to convertible debt notes issued last August. The
necessary adjustments will not affect cash, revenue or operating losses,
the company said.

G.M.'s Incentives for 2003 Models

ETROIT, Aug 23 (Reuters) — The General Motors Corporation has quietly
ratcheted up incentives on its new 2003 models as it prepares to end zero-percent
financing on its dwindling supply of 2002 models, dealers said today.

A special West Nile virus surveillance program has been initiated in
49 states, five cities, and the District of Columbia. See the Epidemic/Epizootic
