MARKHAM, ONTARIO, CANADA - February 16, 2000 – Unique Broadband Systems, Inc. (CDNX: UBS) announced today that the Company has signed a contract with Hughes Network Systems’ (HNS) Subscriber Products Division, located in San Diego, California, having a value of up to $66 million (CDN), with a minimum value of $38 million (CDN).  The contract is for the design, development and manufacture of terrestrial repeater network equipment.

Sirius and Panasonic Announce New Satellite Radio Products
