Heylo, happy folk. My name is Victoria, but people call me Vicky or Yence (it's short for Annoyance, and it's spelled phonetically). I'm a snare player; this is my third year in drumline and my first year as a section leader. I enjoy Truth or Dare, hypothetical questions, the Beatles, and 311. Alicia passed the duties of Designer of the Year on to me (aw shucks), so now I get to play with the web site! BWA-HA-HA! Okay, no more psycho laughing. This site is very much under construction, so come visit as much as possible. I am also caretaker of the Band Binder, which is similar to the web site, only in book form. It has Band Wars, "Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Marching Band," and several other things.
While you're here, check out Insanity Book, My other site, which is based on slam books that my friends and I have.

| This is a picture me and Ben Little at Disneyworld. He played mellophone and French horn; he graduated in 2002 and is going to SMSU. This is one of those pictures that makes me think of how band makes lasting friendships. Ben has been there for me during a lot of tough situations. He is one of the most influential people I have ever meant in my eniter life. Even though our relationship has gone through some tough stuff, Ben is and always will be one of my best friends and my blood brother (no exchange of blood took place; we made up a handshake). Ben, if you're reading this, you da man! Well, sorta... No, not just sorta, you really are da man. |

This is another one of my bestest goodest friends, Pam Kelly. She played flute and was in guard, and now she's going to Stevens College in Columbia. She has repetedly tried to talk me into going to Stevens and sharing a room with her. Unfortunately, when my parents saw how much it would cost, they said no. When you're in band, you will always find someone who has an interest in something you enjoy; for example, Pam and I are both huge Sailor Moon fans. A word of advice to newbies: recite quotes from Monty Python, and you'll attract a lot of people. |
