This was taken July 5, 2003 in Owensboro,KY. We had arrived early that morning and spent the day outside to ge tour good seats. After we had been seated, some dj's onstage were just messing around with the fans. A lady came up and asked me if my PL tattoo on my arm stood for Patty Loveless. I told her yes, and the next thing I knew, a dj made me stand up to show everyone. When I sat down, the promotions director came up, asked me about my tattoo and then asked me if I'd ever met her. I said yes, but that if she had passes, I would love to meet her again. She just smiled and plopped two passes on my lap and told me to have a good time. So my friend Molly and I got to go backstage after the show...and it was AWESOME!!! She was really tired, but she was so talkative at the same time. She has decided she wants to call me "NIC" and not "Nicole" anymore. She seemed to get great pleasure out of that, and I was absolutely thrilled!!!
This was taken on 8/28/03 in Richmond,VA. It was my 120th Patty concert on my 20th Birthday. I had talked to a dj w/ the station who happened to get me and my cousin backstage....Which was awesome! She just looked at me and said "Your going back..Happy Birthday!".It was an AWESOME experience. Before she began "Pretty Little Miss", she said it was for the Birthday Girls...and then said 'Happy Birthday Nicole, I know it's your birthday today!'. Once we got backstage, she made sure to tell me Happy Birthday again, and talked about how I grew up right in front of her. It was VERY cool...and it was quite possibly one of my favorite meetings with her!
