The History
Nothing Yet formed back in September of 2001, but at the time it was only me and Choate. After some searching a bass player was found in the form of a mildly-retarded man we'll call J. Downing.. no.. let's say Josh D.? After Josh joined the band a drummer was found. They were both destined to get the boot. After writing a couple of original songs, the band then known as Baker's Dozen (don't even ask) had the idea of playing Colonial High's PAC. That didn't go over so well. Come January of 2002, Josh was out of the band and we needed a new bass player. The prospect of perhaps finding someone who was already an excellent player went out the window and we found someone who never played a bass guitar before, Jarrod. He picked it up quick and we were soon back to writing songs. Then, next thing you know, the drummer was thrown out due to the movie "Lilo and Stitch" and the call for a drummer was heard. Kevin was found just to session, but after playing a gig at Jarrod's house for about 40 people or so we asked him to join and he did. After a summer of buying gear and attempting to record a couple songs and a name change, Nothing Yet is still a work in progress. --- Kyle Bodshaug, Guitar
