Certified Fresh Special - A message from the band
Well,
it’s almost Counting Down time and we wanted to give
you an idea of what you can expect from our new album. It’s
been in the works for about a year now, and it’s going to
give you a look into what we’ve been through and how we’ve
grown since Telling Everybody. We recorded the first track
(“Counting Down”) in London during our first visit
there in August 1997 and since then we have recorded on and off
until the last vocals were put down in June 1998.
The
songs have come from everywhere this time, with just over half
the tracks written by us. We’ve experiences some pretty
incredible things in the last couple of years, and those
experiences have pushed us as singers and performers. You’re
going to hear a new, improved sound from a group that has taken a
few risks and developed what it does best: singing! With
“Cruel” only being the tip of the iceberg, we can’t
wait until you all get a chance to hear the rest of Counting
Down. Some of you may have heard a live version of the
title track in our concert last year or caught it on our video,
but for the rest of you November is not that far away.
For
now, we hope you love “Cruel” (and all these new photos!).
