Out of the darkness and chaos that was the
summer of 2001,
a whisper began to echo. The echo grew until it was a deafening surge, a surge that would begin to take form inside of physical entities. Mercury Soul was the prodigious conception of two high school students from a small, unknown town in upstate New York. Throughout the summer, the group grew and evolved, until there were three full time members of the band, and many contributing artists who collaborated on a semi-frequent basis. Throughout the next couple of months, the band would experience a few setbacks, including the temporary loss of a guitarist due to unforeseen circumstances. But as time passed on, the band began to realize their true potential, and Mercury Soul developed into a fully functional musical entity.
