Telly 3

From what I understand, "Pinky & Perky" was a children's show of the 60s and maybe 70s. It had a "live, human" host, and some talking puppet-pigs. One episode on this tape has a really frightening singing rabbit with a human body. In 1966 Freddie and the Dreamers appeared, shrunk down inside of a record player. My recording is pretty fuzzy.

Note Derek and Bernie have switched instruments

Freddie, now life-size, looks for the host.

...and finds the host has been shrunk! Strange stuff!

It's A Mod Mod World was probably fun to watch, I don't know, my copy is horrible. The boys are in England at a carnival, and I'll tell you, neon lights don't work too well on black and white film. They are performing "Do The Freddie" and no one plays! Actually the Dreamers didn't do the music for the song anyway, and we get to see Bernie trying to do The Freddie. During this film there are various models just standing in the middle of acts like mannequins, and Freddie runs over and kisses one during their song. The quality is awful on my tape.

HEARTBEAT is a very popular British television series, a few are on videotape but not this episode, not that I know of. I had never seen the show before, and I won't give the plot away, but to say that Freddie plays "Tiny" the DJ. It has a really wild twist, the whole show is wonderful, and Freddie's quite an actor.
