we are currently still making artwork for a new batch of the recent demo, we're still using cardboard, etc for this lot, but i think then we'll switch to a cheaper and easier way of doing it, probably the thin plastic slip-wallets and an inlay. we are working things out with decavity records for a 10" sometime in april, and toby, ever posi, has already designed the artwork! we are writing songs at the moment, and we're probably going to have enough for a 7" as well, likely to be a few splits. decavity records just released a compilation, 38 tracks with 37 bands, which has i'm sober now on it, and a load of other neat stuff. decavity records. another track from the demo, i'd burn the walls, is on a compilation called 'now that's what i call underground vol 2' released by dysfunction web. it's another nice diy effort, and another with loads of tracks. i'll put more details up when i've got time, we'll be selling them at gigs for £2. in the mean time, we're playing more gigs, we've got a new drum kit and an extra amp/head, so flight team are reporting for duty (yaya).

here's a few mp3's. please do us a favour, and if you've got the time, follow the instructions below to download them so that this site doesn't get closed down when the bandwidth is surpassed. i am trying to find a free mp3 host with unlimited bandwidth, so that downloading is possible whenever with no restrictions (please let me know if you've found a decent host!), but for now, it'd be ace if you could go to the yahoo group (see instructions below) to download them. however, the new one's not there at the moment, i'll upload it later

here's an mp3 from the demo, i'm sober now

this is a new song, called haste! cease! it was recorded live at the packhorse onto minidisc on the 25th february.
haste! cease! (live)

apparently, if it gets downloaded 6 times in one day, an error message will appear about bandwidth. if this happens, go to
flight team online
use this login: doublesixonline
and this password: letmehear
then go to files, enter file i'm sober now, right click on the mp3 and save target as. this should avoid the bandwidth problem

we are no longer sending out free copies of our 5 track demo, the sound quality is too bad to even offer to people. we are however, very nearly finished with our second demo. it has 6 tracks and is bang on 28 minutes long. the sound quality is really decent. leon is a sound engineer, so we've done it ourselves. we did the drum tracks at sponge studios in a practice room, recording through the mixing desk into a minidisk. we have then used toby's digital 4 track for the guitars, bass and vocals. we are currently making the cd's and artwork. in order to not lose money on all the artwork and cd's (we have hand made carboard sleeves plus other treats), we'll cover our costs, but it will only be £2. when it's ready, i'll let you know (on the site, or by email, if you've contacted us before) and you can get a copy if you like. the track listing is...

i'd burn the walls
cold stone
february waltz
as pennance goes
i'm sober now
echoes remain

the newest demo is reviewed here and i think the first one is there too, so you'll need to go to release reviews and then to the DEF section.
