Dido (Dye-do) Armstrong was born on December 25, 1971 in London, England, UK. She was six when she entered the guildhall school of music in London. A bit of a child prodigy, by the time she was 10 she played piano, violin, and the recorder (which she plays in "Thankyou") Her CD "No Angel" was released June 1999 in the United States, and January 2001 in the UK. Her song "Here With Me" is featured on the show Roswell as its theme song, and "Thankyou" is included in Eminem's song "Stan". Her brother Rollo (from Faithless) helped with producing her album, and the two co-wrote much of her songs.
