Press [ctrl], [alt], and C at the same time and a text box will appear.

Get 1,000 simoleons (money)
Type in rosebud in the text box.
Set Sim's free thinking level
Type in autonomy (1-100) in the text box.
Set the level of Architecture tools
Type in auto_level in the text box.
Get rid of camera mode
Type in cam_mode in the text box.
Disable frames
Type in draw_all_frames_off in the text box.
Enable frames
Type in draw_all_frames_on in the text box.
Disable floorable grid

Build a house with only a 2nd story
First, on the 1st story, build pillars all around the house. Then, build the 2nd story. Now, build a staircase then delete all the pillars.
Raise mood bars
First, use the move all objects cheat. Then, make your Sim sit in a chair. Pause the game and delete the chair. Your Sim will disappear. Then unpause it and you mood bars will be raised.
Don't pay your bills
First, take the bills out of the mailbox. Then go to Buy Mode and select the bills. Then, click where they can't be put down. They will disappear. Now you don't have to pay them.
