India’s most famous tabla drummers. Learn to play tabla April 3 and

was inspired to take up tabla by his uncle, the sitar player Pandit Biswanath
Chatterjee, when he was just four years old.
At five he was All India Radio's youngest artiste. At six
Anindo became a disciple of Padmabhushan Jnan Prakash Ghosh, and studied with

SANGEET 20003 SPRING SESSION
REGISTRATION FOR SANGEET CLASSES & WORKSHOPS HAS BEGUN! Sangeet
strives to provide a forum for high-level professional performers of
traditional Indian music and dance to interact with the Austin music
community through recitals and workshops in which local musicians and
aficionados can participate. Sangeet’s founder, sitarist Amie Maciszewski, is
pleased to be back in Austin after a two-year research, teaching, and
performing stint in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which took her to India twice.
