Open Your Eyes

Spit your ignorance disbelieg in my face
I tell you otherwise, but you don't conceive
You don't want to know I understand this place
Drive it farther and farther cause I intend to leave

Frustration, confusion within me is sheer
It is enough alone to drag me down
Your fucken apathy makes it clear
You'd be better off without me around

You give me adolescence less than it's worth
Your maturity often seems hypocritical
Love is abundant but comprehension you lack
Adulthood by bashing my youth is somewhat cynical

"When you're older you'll see your immaturities"
Every day you jab a cold knife into my emotion
And being older you fail to see my insecurities
I pull the knifes out and still play this fake devotion

"Someday your eyes will open" the phrase never does work
And with this, other kids have made the cut
I thought you have once before followed this "trend"
I guess when you get older, your eyes are shut
