Nigel Wilson is an experienced Great Highland Bagpipe player. Nigel was born in Bearsden, a suburb of Glasgow, in Scotland and has been playing the bagpipes for over 35 years. He is not that old - he just started playing the pipes from a very early age!
He moved to Leicestershire in 1986 and was a member of the Borough Of Charnwood Pipe Band (a grade 4 competition band) from 1987 until its disbandment in June 2000.
Nigel now plays with a local Leicestershire Pipe Band and was one of the founding members back in January 2002.
