Who We Are..Seed Ministries, Inc. is a ministry which reaches across denominational barriers.
It does not promote religion, but rather, a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to present the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the source of hope and new life to a lost and dying world: to train, to disciple, and to raise up Godly individuals for the Army of God.
Our History, Our Beginning......After much soul searching and nudging by the Holy Spirit we agreed to found Seed Ministries.
On June 28, 1996 at Joyful Gospel Church Fellowship in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, Seed Ministries was born.
Serving Every Evangelistic Dimension is the statement that is Seed Ministries.
This name and statement was given during the prayer meeting in progress.
Pastor Bill Logsdon of Joyful Gospel, under the prompting of the Holy Spirit, gave us our Scripture which is
11 Corinthians chapter 9, verse 10.
"Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness."
Our three goals for this ministereal endeavor are:
To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the Holy Bible.
To add to the members of the body of Christ by evangelistic outreaches.
To minister to the physical, mental, and emotional needs of a lost and dying generation.
By serving our communities in this way, and by reaching out to people in need, we will improve their quality of life and show them that we care.
This will have a positive effect on the community and, as a result, violence and crime will decrease.
Our Purpose and Intent.....
We will preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ by one on one witnessing and going door to door.
This will include street preaching and witnessing at major events (Mardis Gras, Indy 500, Kentucky Derby,Daytona Beach and popular events).
We believe in ministering to the physical and emotional needs of individuals by feeding the hungry and homeless:
by offering individual prayer and counseling:
and by directing individuals to other sources of help.
We work with churches and other ministries and hold open air revivals, crusades with preaching, teaching, and hands on personal evangelistic training.
We offer encouraging and entertaining programs at project centers, missions, senior citizen and personal care facilities, day care centers, prisons, etc. through music, clown skits, preaching, puppets, and hot dog give aways.
Our goal is to work towards the establishing of a distributions center that will provide food, clothing, counseling, and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Some Accomplishments....
We thank the Lord Our God for the 53,000 souls that have come into His Kingdom through this ministry within the past Ten years.
We have ministered and witnessed to people at the Indy 500, Kentucky Derby, Mardis Gras, and other major events.
We have reached out to the inner cities of the United States in our crusades through music, clowns, mimes, puppets, one on one evangelism, street preaching, tract attacks, and hot dog give aways.
We have shared the love of Jesus Christ in nursing homes, day care centers, senior citizen centers, missions, hospitals, and prisons.
People from all walks of life have had life changing experiences when they have made a commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have motivated and encouraged churches to go beyond the four walls through our evangelism teaching and training seminars.
We give all glory and praise to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving us the opportunity to touch someone because He touched us!
Financial Support...If you believe in the work we are accomplishing throughout the United States, and would like to support our efforts by your prayers and by your love gifts, we will gladly accept your donations.
Like any other growing ministry, we have financial obligations which must be met. As our outreach grows, so does our operating costs. If God is speaking to your heart concerning our needs, we want you to remember that your contribution will be vital, a seed planted in good ground for God's abundant harvest!
