[the diy punk/hardcore community keeps me away from the outside world, which i hate so much. i walk outside and i get harrassed because i "have a nice ass." i work my ass off 40 hours a week so i can tend to people's caffeine addictions. i turn on the news and hear a story of another woman being raped, another cop unlawfully beating someone down, another president who doesn't care about human rights/lives. there are ads placed on pace busses that remind me that womyn make 79¢ to a man's dollar. i'm glad that the many of us involved in the diy punk/hardcore community are speaking out & working against the patriarchy/plutocracy. our arms are open to all the oppressed people. we welcome you into our community. victory can be ours. refuse. resist. repeat.]
