Have you ever tried to make a costume on empty pockets? Just have a little money left over after paying the bills? Just want a quick easy CATS costume. Then you're in the right place. Welcome to Queach Costume Central. Yes, Queach. Queach is my word for quick, easy, cheap. Here are some ideas to help you.

Tails - Tails don't have to be made with all that twisting and all that yarn. Buy or find a feather boa and spray it with spray paint to the right color. I've heard it's supposed to give it that matted look that some of the tails have.

Probably, you could just take a cord or something and sew pieces of fringed cloth or felt to it. I've never tried it, but who knows? Maybe it'll work.

Wigs - You don't have to make a wig. You can just put your hair up in little buns. or just leave it down. My friend and I did that and it looked really cute. Or just leave it down. When your face is painted, it looks adorable. Or take a headband and attach faux fur ears.

If you hair isn't long enough to put in buns, try using a regular wig and style it. Or go out to Wal-Mart and buy some faux (pronounced foe) fur for a couple bucks and make ears or a whole wig out of it.

Make-Up - Buy cheap-o face paints and use yours/your mom's/your wife's make-up. You can get a pack of Palmer's Paint Pots for about $2 at Wally World and they work well enough.

Unitard - Go in leggings and a long-sleeved T-Shirt. You don't even have to dye it. When I was with some friends, I just wore a black leotard, black shorts, and off-white leg-warmers instead of a unitard. It was actually pretty cute.
